I thrive to enable a sustainable future by embodying nature. For experiencing the re-creation of inherent nature and its vivid qualities, I invite you to a somatic access to the nature within. Preserving the nature within is equally interconnected to preserving nature around.
intention
I’m Lara Dunkel (she/her) based and born in Berlin with Swedish childhood roots. Nature and horses have been a great resource and companion through changes in my life since ever. They guided me from a high stress environment in advertisement agencies to an ongoing journey of somatic healing, self-discovery and feminist (un-)learning. I reorientated towards mutual trauma integration work with horses and nature. In international collaborations I got to know various approaches. In order to support the access to this resource, Itanca emerged.
My values are interconnectedness, sensitivity, naturality, openness and intuition. I’m aware that safety and freedom is relative and not universally accessible for human and horses. I acknowledge the wounds of patriarchy such as oppressive power dynamics and the anthroposcene. With openness I like to invite shifts towards an individual and collective somatic growth in consensual un-learning, recognition and awareness – so that we can create interspecific spaces, that are “safe as possible” together.
Furthermore I like to mention, that I don’t make any promises of cure and healing. My complementary accompaniment in the form of self-recreation with SE® for human and horses doesn’t replace a specialist approbation of psychotherapy, medical and psychiatric treatment or any horse behaviorism or training method. Staying within my professional standard I recommend a holistic network of support with various specializations. I’d be honored to be part of yours. Feel free to reach out for any questions.
